Packing Without the Right Materials Costs You More Than You Think

Broken dishes, lost items and boxes that will not close turn a simple move into an expensive cleanup. The right materials and process prevent that.

  • Breakage from improper packing can happen: standard boxes offer limited protection for dishes, glassware or framed art
  • Packing a whole apartment can eat up a lot of your time and energy
  • Boxes arrive unlabeled or mislabeled, and unpacking becomes a room-by-room scavenger hunt
  • Partial packing stops halfway when you run out of materials or time, delaying the whole move

Packing is the most time-consuming part of a move. Our packing service covers boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, wardrobe boxes and specialty containers for fragile items. We pack, label, load, transport, unload and unpack at your new location. Cost depends on home size, distance, stairs, packing and date. Get a free written estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions About Packing Services in the Bronx

Often yes. Professional packers are faster, use better materials and can save you a lot of your own time, which also reduces the risk of damage. Ask the company how packed items are handled if something is damaged.

Movers typically won't pack hazardous materials (paint, propane, chemicals), perishable food, plants, or items with sentimental value that cannot be replaced. Medications and valuables are also better packed personally.

Cost depends on the number of rooms, fragile items, floors and distance. Get a free written estimate.

Items that are often forgotten include things in storage areas and closets, items stored above cabinets, refrigerator contents, outdoor items, and important documents.
